Dr. Michael White will lead a summer film making workshop for teens hosted by Wayne State College at the College Center in South Sioux City.
The workshop is an introduction in filmmaking. Students will actively plan, shoot and edit their own short films.
All facets of production will be covered including casting, set design, location scouting, lighting, shooting and editing.

Script Writing & Story Boards: Monday, June 17 Ideas will become script and then be turned into story boards to shoot from.
All About Cameras & Shooting: Tuesday, June 18 How cameras work, including how to zoom, focus, compose, and execute camera moves.
Microphones & Recording Sound: Wednesday, June 19 How to mic scenes and set up sound to be edited later.
Sets & Locations: Thursday, June 20 How to design sets and organize shooting.
Editing: Friday, June 21 How to assemble all the video and sound with effects to create a final project.
Project Screening: Friday, June 21 @ 7:00 A showing of the short films made by workshop students!
